Gary Laverne Brack, 66, passed away December 15, 2022, at his home in Wichita. He was born on November 5, 1956, in Great Bend, to Daylon and Roberta (Spitzmiller) Brack. He married Charla Geier and they later divorced. He then married Mary (Richmond) and they later divorced also.

A Wichita resident since 1974, Gary grew up and graduated from Great Bend High School. He enjoyed bowling, fishing and spending time with his family.

Survivors include, his children, Lavenia Winter of Calif., Lance Gawthrop of Tenn., Makishia Ginyard and Shaunta Gawthrop, both of Wichita; 15 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; his sister, Cathy Vonfeldt and two nephews, Jason Vonfeldt and wife Jennifer and Jared Vonfeldt, all of Great Bend. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be Monday, Dec. 19, 2022, from noon to 8 p.m., with family receiving friends from 6-7 p.m. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, December 20, 2022, at Bryant Funeral Home, with Rev. Daniel Vandenburg presiding. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park, Great Bend. Memorials have been designated to the Golden Belt Humane Society, in care of Bryant Funeral Home.
