WICHITA — Gene Roberson, 74, passed away on June 16 surrounded by his family at St. Francis Hospital. He was born on June 17, 1936 in Great Bend. After serving in the United States Army, he spent his career as a sales representative of wholesale steel products until his retirement.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Gyla. Other survivors include three brothers, Jerry (Lynn), Tom (Marge), Bob (Rose); two sons, Mark (Kirsten), Mitch (Summer); six grandchildren, Tiffani Gudenkauf (Travis), Melissa, Mariah, Natalie, Austin, Tyler; and two great-grandchildren Jordon and Jillian. He was preceded in death by his parents, Herb and Lorene Roberson.
Services will be held at 4 p.m. on Monday at the Trinity Presbyterian Church, 2258 Marigold in Wichita. A memorial has been established at Trinity Presbyterian Church. Condolences may be offered at www.resthavenmortuary-cemetery.com.
