SAND SPRING, Okla. — George Arthur Windham, 64, died May 22 in Sand Springs, Okla. He was born on Jan. 15, 1949, in Sanford, N.C. Mr. Windham was united in marriage to Joyce Marie Morrison. He was a resident of Sand Springs, Okla., for several years. He worked at Worthman Heating and Air as a service technician.
Mr. Windham served in the United States Army for 13 years. He enjoyed plants, flowers, birds and dogs.
Survivors include his wife, Joyce Windham of the home; a daughter, Stormy Ochs of Great Bend; his mother, Maybelle Windham of Broadway, N.C.; three sisters, Vicky Godwin of Broadway, N.C., Geraldine Windham of Raleigh-Durham, N.C., and Kitty Sciotto of Florida; and two brothers, Condray Windham of Sanford, N.C., and Ronald Windham of Broadway, N.C. He was preceded in death by, a son, Robert Morrison; his father Hubert Windham; two brothers, Tommy Windham and Craven Windham; and a sister, Sue Fore.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 1, at the Community Assembly Church in Sand Springs with Pastor Jimmy Noe officiating.
