George Veprus, 97, died June 16 at Cherry Village Nursing Home in Great Bend. Born Feb. 18, 1916 in Lithuania, he was a longtime resident of Great Bend.
Mr. Veprus was a member of the Prince of Peace Parish and Central Kansas Association for the Visually Impaired (CKAVI).
Survivors include one sister, Helen.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. today at Cherry Village Chapel in Cherry Village Nursing Home with Father Ted Stoecklein officiating.
