Geraldine M. “Gerry” Peschka, 78, died Oct. 8, 2013 at Great Bend Regional Hospital. She was born June 8, 1935 at Great Bend, the daughter of Joseph and Catherine (Kramer) Zorn.
She married Elmer Alvin Peschka Oct. 20, 1952 at Beaver, Kansas.  He died March 27, 1984.
Mrs. Peschka was a Great Bend resident since 1956, coming from Hoisington. She was a homemaker and a member of Prince of Peace Parish at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church.
Survivors include three sons: Dan Peschka and his wife Nancy of Great Bend, Joe Peschka and his wife Alethea of Great Bend, and Patrick Peschka and his companion Natalie Sharkey of Great Bend; daughter-in-law: Sherri Peschka of Great Bend; one sister: Marjorie Andrews of Salina; three grandchildren: Kimberly Bilder and husband Christopher of Lincoln, Neb., Joe Peschka, Jr. and wife Dycie of Great Bend; Thomas Peschka and wife Jamie of Great Bend; and ten great-grandchildren: Callum Bilder, Keegan Bilder, Dayaneara Peschka, Persephenie Peschka, Liberty Peschka, Jacob Peschka, Logan Peschka, Madison Peschka, Cody Cullison, and Conner Cullison.
She was preceded in death by one son, Tom Peschka and three brothers.
The Funeral Service is 2 p.m. Friday at Bryant Funeral Home. Interment will be at Great Bend Cemetery. Visitation is 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., with the family receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday at Bryant Funeral Home.
