DALLAS, Texas – Gilbert Roger Bates, loving father and grandfather, 90, died Oct. 16, 2014 at Medical City Hospital, Dallas.He was born Aug. 10, 1924 at Otis, the son of Edward and Lena (Jessup) BatesHe married Hildred Allene Munger on Dec. 24, 1947 in Hoisington. She died Feb. 11, 1999. Gilbert retired from Oil Field Sales.
