DeleteCHICAGO, Ill. — Gregory Daniel was born in Great Bend on June 25, 1965. He passed away Oct. 28, in Chicago, Ill. Gregory was a loving, caring person with a giving heart. He was a dedicated, loyal employee of Polo Ralph Lauren. He was impeccably dressed and loved to dress others. He loved to sing and could often be heard belting out a tune in the freight elevators of Ralph Lauren. Gregory was known for having a very close relationship with his clients, and always went out of his way to show his loyalty. He loved his family and had a special place in his heart for children. He adored his God children.
Gregory attended Kansas State University, where in 1985 he became a proud member of Phi Beta Sigma, Inc.
He was preceded in death by his mother Myrtle Daniel and grandmother Ola B. Robinson. He leaves to cherish his life and unforgettable memories, his brother Willie Cheeks of Great Bend; his sister Jeanette Daniel-Williams of Lenexa; two nephews, Issac (Olivia) Cheeks of Denver, Colo. and Victor (Kamita) Williams Jr. of Overland Park; three nieces, Tiffany Allen and Latasha Wiley, both of Chicago, Ill. and Na’shell Williams of Wichita; his godchildren; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, great-nieces, great-nephews and friends.
Services for Gregory Daniel were held on Nov. 9th. Gregory’s final resting place will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday at the Golden Belt Cemetery in Great Bend. Cards may be sent to Jeanette Daniel-Williams, 12012 W. 78th Terrace, Lenexa, KS 66216. jwilliamskc@yahoo.com
