She was a current member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Hoisington, and was a past board member and served on the altar guild. She was former member of Concordia Lutheran Church, Hoisington, where she had taught Midweek School and VBS. In her earlier years, she was active in the 21st Century EHU and several bowling leagues in both Hoisington and Great Bend. She loved attending Hoisington Cardinal sporting events as well as watching Kansas Jayhawks basketball.

She is survived by her daughters, Lisa Stambaugh and husband Jerry, and Laura Deines, all of Hoisington; brother, Mike Chambers of Hoisington; brother-in-law, Jim Adams of Hoisington; three grandchildren, Macy Reinert and husband Logan of Great Bend, Nash Stambaugh of Lawrence, and Jessica Mullens and husband Trey of Aledo, Texas; four great grandchildren, Tess, London, Nolan, and Landry Mullens.
