Helen Marie Weese, 80, died Dec. 3, 2010 at her Great Bend, Kansas, home. She was born June 2, 1930, at Pratt, the daughter of Lee and Mabel (Kilgore) Miller. She Married Calvin Levi Weese Oct. 24, 1948 at Pratt. He died Oct. 22, 2002. A Great Bend resident since 1955 coming from Pratt. Mrs. Weese was a Certified Medical Aide for 32 years at Great Bend Health and Rehabilitation. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Great Bend.

Survivors include five sons: Calvine L. Weese, Jr., Gregory Lee Weese and wife Cindy of Kansas City, Miss., Jeffery Lynn Weese and wife Lanette, Kevin Leon Weese, all of Great Bend, Sean Lesley Weese and wife Debbie, Mt. Airy, Md.: two daughters: Sherilyn Kae Steward and husband Tom of Emporia, Kimberly Ann Jordan of Great Bend; one sister: Carolyn Woods, Oklahoma City, Okla.; 23 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one brother, Darrell Miller.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Tuesday, Dec. 7 at the Church of Christ in Great Bend with Chuck Marshall and Pastor Luke Weese officiating. Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday, Dec. 6 with family receiving friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Bryant Funeral Home.
