HOISINGTON — Howard M. “Herb” Sellens, 86, died Jan. 18, 2018, at Clara Barton Hospital, Hoisington. He was born Dec. 14, 1931, in Hoisington, Kansas, the son of Henry and Florette (Overholt) Sellens. Howard graduated from Bronaugh High School, Bronaugh, Missouri and then enlisted with the United States Army, serving from 1949 to 1952 during the Korean War as a Sergeant First Class.
