Ian R. Shuey, 30, passed away July 28, 2016. Born March 30, 1986, in Great Bend he was the son of Paul Shryock and Kelley Shuey. He was employed with Chism’s Trash Service in Great Bend as a truck driver.
Survivors include his parents, Kelley (Mike) Bieberle of Salina; four brothers, Asa (Amber) Shuey of Andover, Nik (Trista) Bieberle of Centerville, Corban Bieberle of Salina and Liji Corwin of Hutchinson; grandmother, Wilma Pettijohn of Great Bend; grandparents, Ron and Bonnie Minix of Lyons and Marvin and Marge Bieberle of Great Bend; two nieces, Alyssa and Alidia Shuey; and a nephew, Jax Bieberle. He was preceded in death by his father, Paul Shryock; grandfather, Raymond Shuey; grandmother, Darlene Wilhelm-Shuey; and grandfather, Jim Pettijohn.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 845 S. Ohio in Salina. Burial will take place at the Great Bend City Cemetery with graveside service at 3:30 p.m. Visitation will be held from 1 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, with the family receiving guests from 5 to 7 p.m., at Roselawn Heights Memorial Chapel in Salina.
