Ingrid D. Trinka, 67, died Feb. 18 at Great Bend Regional Hospital. Born Jan. 3, 1947, at Hillsboro, she was the daughter of Harold and Myrl Berg.
A longtime Great Bend resident, Ms. Trinka was a secretary and receptionist most of her life. She was an accomplished writer with poetry published in several magazines. The loves of her life were three wonderful canine companions: Babe, a Keeshond/Collie; Betsy Ross, a miniature Dachshund; and Daffy a Jack Russell terrier. She found Jesus in 1984 and never looked back.
Survivors include one son, Steve Barry Tishfield and his wife Jeannie of Boca Raton, Fla.; and two grandchildren, Hollie Tishfield and Jillian Tishfield. She was preceded in death by a son, Howard Ray “Jack” Luft.
Memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Feb. 24, at Bryant Funeral Home with the Rev. Dick Ogle officiating. Inurnment will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Fairlawn Burial Park Mausoleum in Hutchinson. There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place.
