Jaime Ann (Dryden) Meitner

HUTCHINSON — Jaime Ann (Dryden) Meitner, 42, died unexpectedly June 22, 2021, at her home. She was born Sept. 6, 1978, in Larned, to Stephen and Marsha (Massey) Dryden.  

Jaime graduated from St. John High School in 1997, and Barton County Community College as a registered nurse. She was currently working as a RN part-time at Hutch Health and Rehab. Previously, Jaime worked as a RN for the Hutchinson Clinic and Reno County Health Department. She enjoyed going to the lake with her family, exercising, and was a member of CrossPoint Church, Hutchinson. Jaime was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, and sister. She cherished the opportunity to be able to stay at home with her son, Jacob, after he was born. Only recently did Jaime return to work. Family meant everything to Jaime.  

On April 6, 2002, she married Robert Meitner, in Olmitz. They shared 19 years of marriage.

Jaime is survived by husband, Robert; son, Jacob, both of Hutchinson; mother, Marsha Dryden of St. John; sister, Lindsey Davis (Davie) of Garfield; parents-in-law, Rocky and Connie Meitner; brother-in-law, Cory Meitner (Caitlyn) all of Olmitz; sister-in-law, Stacy Steinert (Terry) of Kansas City, Mo.; nephews, Mason Miller, Landon Davis, Lynkon Davis, Tripp Meitner, Taylor Meitner, and Tanner Cassity; nieces, Everleigh Meitner and Lyla Meitner; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father (who died March 3, 2021); maternal grandparents, Berniece and Bill Massey; paternal grandparents, James and Adele Dryden; and uncle, Gary Massey. 

Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Monday, June 28, 2021, at CrossPoint Church, 1410 E. 30th, Hutchinson. Graveside service will follow at 12:30 p.m. in Fairview Park Cemetery, St. John. Friends may call from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday and 1 to 8 p.m. Sunday, with the family present from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Elliott Mortuary. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Jacob Meitner Educational Fund, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS  67501.
