GREAT BEND – James A. Mitchell, 80, died Nov. 13, 2015 at Pawnee Valley Community Hospital, Larned.
He was born Oct. 16, 1935 at Cushing, Okla., the son of Orval and Lucy E (Owens) Mitchell.
Mr. Mitchell was a Great Bend resident who enjoyed talking about fishing, hunting, and all types of vehicles, as well as collecting T-shirts.  He never met a stranger and enjoyed spending time with his friends.
Survivors include a guardian, Kim Unruh and her husband George, St. John; and a host of friends at Pathways ResCare.
Services will be held at a later date. Memorials are requested to Pathways ResCare, in care of the funeral home.
Bryant Funeral Home, Great Bend, is in charge of arrangements.
