CHASE — James David Fowler died Jan. 22, 2020 in Great Bend, He was born Dec. 7, 1944 in Tulsa, Okla. He graduated from Chase High School in 1963 and joined the Army National Guard after graduation. He was a machinist for 50 years. He married Jacque VanSteenburgh in 1964.

Survivors include his wife; daughter Sheryl Spears of the home; three daughters Chrissy, Missy, and Jaime, all of Arizona; two grandchildren, James Miller of Hoisington and Amanda Kramer of Great Bend; and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother Pauline.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Feb. 22 at the Crosswinds Church in Hoisington. Memorials are suggested to the church for funeral expenses.
