FLORISSANT, Colo. — James E. "Jim" Johnson, 60, died Jan. 2 at Hospice House in Hutchinson. He was born June 6, 1950, at Alva, Okla., the son of Harold E. and Elaine (Lane) Johnson. A Florissant, Colo., resident for 30 years, coming from Cave Junction, Ore., he owned a Jim Johnson’s Services.

Mr. Johnson was a former member of the United Methodist Church in Macksville.

Survivors include his parents, of Great Bend; a sister, Jane Howard, of Great Bend; and a nephew, Bart Howard and wife Brooke, Las Vegas, Nev. He was preceded in death by a nephew, Mason Howard.

Memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Bryant Funeral Home in Great Bend, with the Rev. Hal Staats officiating. There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place.
