LUCAS — James Patrick Page passed away on July 31, 2022 at his home in Lucas, Kan. He was born in Hays, Kan., the second son of Vale Page, MD and Patricia Page on Nov. 5, 1954.
Jim graduated from Plainville High School in 1973 where he excelled in football, track and basketball. He earned a Bachelor’s degree from St. Mary of the Plains College in Dodge City, Kan., then entered the investment and insurance business. He was an avid fisherman and spent his spare time taking family and friends on outings to Wilson Lake. He loved sports of all kinds and was always ready to argue about politics. He loved family get- togethers but was especially devoted to his two daughters and his grandkids.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Jeff. He is survived by daughter Katie Barnes (Branden) and children Brevyn, Kasen and Sadie of Wichita and daughter Hannah Page (Whitney) of Overland Park. Also left to mourn are his former spouse Susan Gibson Page of Pratt; brothers Mike (Sheri) of Plainville, Dan (Holly) of Lawrence; and sisters Mary Bond (Steve) of Wichita, Susan Kerns (Dave) of Sawyer, Melanie Calcara (Mark) of Great Bend and Missy Rempe (Mike) of Pratt as well as a host of nephews, nieces and friends.
A memorial service will be held on September 3rd at the First Christian Church, Plainville.
