DODGE CITY - Janice A. Riedlinger, 76, died Feb. 19, 2016, at Great Bend. Born on July 6, 1939, at Spearville, she was the daughter of William and Margaret (Schulte) Stegman. She grew up in Offerle and attended St. Joseph Catholic Grade School. In 1957, she graduated from Saint Mary of the Plains High School in Dodge City. On April 28, 196,2 she married Donald Joseph Riedlinger at St. Joseph Church in Offerle. She worked at the Dodge City Junior High Library and the Prescription Center for many years. She was an avid enthusiast of ceramics and loved taking care of her lawn and flower gardens.
Mrs. Riedlinger was a member of the Cathedral of Our Lady of Guadalupe of Dodge City.
Survivors include her children, Lynnette Hatfield and husband William of Basehor, Lori Titsworth of Great Bend, and Bill Riedlinger and wife Sue of Meade; nine grandchildren, Emily Hanley and husband Alex of Kansas City, Allison Hatfield of Kansas City, William Titsworth, of Clayton, Okla., Kellie Bouillion and husband Patrick of Greene, Iowa, Landon Titsworth of Great Bend, Rebecca Lynn and husband Joe of Valley Center, Roberto Holguin and wife Tami of Meade, Benjamin Holguin and wife Amber of Newton, and Rachael Rivera of Meade; her siblings, Don Stegman and wife Kathy of Hutchinson, Wayne Stegman and wife Judy of Kinsley, Patricia Coates and husband Les of Wichita Falls, Texas, Bernadette Worcester and husband Richard of Salina, Evelyn Stegman of Ellinwood, Rean Stegman and wife Jerri of Offerle, and Dean Stegman and wife Darla of Kinsley; and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband of 40 years on Aug. 8, 2002; and son-in-law, William (Bill) Larkin Titsworth on March 30, 2015.
Memorial Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday at Sacred Heart Cathedral. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Dodge City.
Vigil Service will be held at 7 p.m. on Wednesday at Sacred Heart Cathedral. There will be no public visitation as cremation has taken place. Memorials are suggested to Catholic Charities of Southwest Kansas or Golden Belt Hospice of Great Bend both in care of the funeral home.
