Janice Waknitz died Sept. 26 at Holmes Regional Medical Center, Melbourne, Fla. She was born April 23, 1942, at Green Forest, Ark., the daughter of John Grady and Louella (Wells) Howerton. She married Charles Waknitz Dec. 27, 1966, at Wichita.
