Jason Lee Johnson, 31, died Aug. 30 at Great Bend Regional Hospital. He was born March 15, 1982, at Great Bend, the son of John A. Johnson and Janice Kay (Mead) Johnson. He was a machinist.
Mr. Johnson grew up in Great Bend, then lived in Kansas City for eight years before returning home.
Survivors include his father, John A. Johnson and companion Dianne Morse, Great Bend; mother, Janice Kay Johnson and companion Bill Brinson, Great Bend; one daughter, Jayden Lynn Johnson of Great Bend; one sister, Jennifer Voorhies and husband Jacob of Lenexa; maternal grandmother, Ila Mae Mead of Belpre; and paternal grandmother, Florence Johnson of Pawnee Rock.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 3, at Bryant Funeral Home, Great Bend, with the Rev. Carrie Buhler officiating. Interment will be at Great Bend Cemetery North. Visitation will be from 1-9 p.m. Monday, with family receiving friends from 4-5 p.m., at the funeral home.
