Jay Paul Wareham, 63, died Dec. 15 at the Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. Born Oct. 21, 1950, in Highland Park, Mich., he was the son of Harold and Ruth (Thomson) Wareham. A longtime resident of Hoisington, recently residing in Great Bend, he was employed in the construction field and raised and trained hunting dogs.
Mr. Wareham served in the United States Navy.
Survivors include one brother, Richard Wareham and wife Suzette of Huntington Beach, Calif.; and one sister, Nancy Hinzmann and husband Vince of Milford, Mich. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation. Private family service will take place at a later date. Condolences may be sent and notice viewed at www.nicholsonrickefh.net.
