Jerrod Michael Espinosa, 31, passed away May 28, 2018, at Via Christi St. Francis Regional Medical Center, Wichita. He was born in Great Bend, Oct, 1, 1986, to Jesse and Barbara (Clements) Espinosa.
Jerrod, a lifetime resident of Great Bend, living previously in Topeka, was a subcontracting roofer for R & R Roofing. He enjoyed music, art and fishing. He enjoyed life to the fullest, and was happiest spending time with his family and working, taking great pride in his skill.
Survivors include his parents, Jesse and Barbara Espinosa, of Great Bend; three sons, Alex Strecker of Beaver, Carroll Espinosa of Topeka and Joseph Chay Espinosa of Topeka; two daughters, Kimberly Espinosa of Topeka and Jenavieve Espinosa of Topeka; two brothers, James Pattinson of Great Bend and Joe Pattinson of Hutchinson; two sisters, Kathy Pattinson of Wichita and Anita Stringos of Arlington; fiancée, Leona Strecker of Wichita; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Dan and Rowetta Calp; paternal grandparents, Jose and Natalia Espinosa; and one brother, Joseph Chay Espinosa.
Memorial services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Monday, June 4, 2018, at Bryant Funeral Home, with inurnment following at Hillcrest Memorial Park, Great Bend. There will be no visitation, as cremation has taken place. Memorials may be directed to the Jerrod Espinosa Funeral Expense Fund, in care of Bryant Funeral Home.
