LARNED — Jerry M. Dailey, 78, died July 30, 2016 at Pawnee Valley Community Hospital, Larned. He was born Dec. 7, 1937, at Great Bend, the son of John W. “Jack” and Edith Ann (Kummer) Dailey. He was a security guard for a medical clinic in Tulsa, Okla.
Mr. Dailey was a Larned resident the past 11 months, coming from Tulsa.
He was a Kansas National Guard veteran.
He was of the Catholic faith.
Survivors include three sisters, Dorothea Hershey of Washington, D.C., Janiece R. Burke of Denver, Colo., and Eleanor Dailey of Great Bend; one brother, Richard “Dick” Dailey of Great Bend; and 16 nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by four brothers, James Dailey, William Dailey, Jack Dailey Jr. and Donald “Dee” Dailey; and three sisters, Gwen Bible, Peggy Dailey and Patricia Dillard.
Private family inurnment will be at a later date. Memorials are requested to the Prince of Peace Parish – St. Rose, in care of Bryant Funeral Home. Condolences may be sent and notice viewed at www.bryantfh.net.
