Joshua Calvin Bobbitt, 21, passed away March 28, 2022, at Via Christi St. Francis in Wichita. He was born on July 6, 2000, at Great Bend, the son of Scott and Connie (Hafliger) Bobbitt. 

Joshua was a longtime Great Bend resident, most recently living in Wichita. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church. Joshua enjoyed sports, especially wrestling which he participated in high school. He was an avid Denver Bronco and K-State fan.  

Survivors include, his mother, Connie Bobbitt of Overland Park; three brothers, Thomas Bobbitt of Wichita, Alan Matthew Bobbitt of Great Bend, and Bobby Bobbitt and wife Kelly of Overland Park,; a sister, Abigail Long and husband Adam of Birmingham, Ala.; his girlfriend, Alexis Davis and her son Izaiah Watkins; and nieces and nephews, Jonas, Tristan, Avrey and Talon. He was preceded in death by his father, Scott Bobbitt. 

There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place. Memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m., Thursday, April 7, 2022, at Bryant Funeral Home with Pastor Ernest Alexander presiding. Inurnment will be in the Utica Cemetery at a later date. Memorials have been designated to CASA or Kansas Children’s Service League, in care of Bryant Funeral Home.
