Joshua Dean Ratzlaff 1987—2011
OTIS — Joshua Dean Ratzlaff, 24, died March 31 at the Central Kansas Medical Center, Great Bend.
He was born January 10, 1987, at McPherson, the son of Charles and Julie (Ratzlaff) Trammell. He was an oilfield roughneck.
Mr. Ratzlaff was an Otis resident for 15 years coming from McPherson.
Survivors include his mother, Julie Norman, Otis; stepfather, Harold Norman, Norton; fiancee, Krystal Vincent, Otis; uncles, Jim Ratzlaff, Houston, Texas; John Ratzlaff, Windom; Joel Ratzlaff, Goessel; and great-aunt, Lillian Gibson, McPherson. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Seth Trammell, his maternal grandmother, Rita, and his maternal grandfather, Merlin Ratzlaff.
A memorial service is scheduled at 1 p.m. Friday, April 8, at Bright Horizons, 4801 10th St., Great Bend. No visitation is scheduled as cremation has taken place. Memorials can be sent to the Funeral Expense Fund, in care of Bryant Funeral Home.
