Joyce M. Bray, 68, died March 28 at Via Christi St. Francis Regional Medical Center, Wichita.  Born Nov. 13, 1946 at Garden City, she was the daughter of William James and Ruth (Schulz) Bray
She was a 1964 graduate of Great Bend High School and a 1967 graduate of Asbury School of Nursing, Salina.  She was a critical care nurse in the coronary unit at Wesley Medical Center, Wichita. She was a member of the American Association of Critical Care Nurses.  Ms. Bray was a resident of Wichita since 1972 coming from Great Bend where she was a member of First Christian Church.    
Survivors include one sister, Vivian Jane Bray of Longmont, Colo.
Funeral service will be Thursday, April 2, at 1:30 p.m. at First Christian Church, Great Bend. with Reverend Joshua Leu, officiant.  Interment will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park.  Visitation will be from 1 to 9 p.m., with the family receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, April 1, at Bryant Funeral Home.  Memorials are suggested to First Christian Church or Joyce Bray Nursing Scholarship, in care of Bryant Funeral Home.  Condolences may be sent and notice viewed at www.bryantfh.net.
