CLAFLIN — Judith A. Stevenson, 71, died June 19, 2011 at Great Bend Regional Hospital.
She was born February 4, 1940 at Hoisington, the daughter of John and Opal (Heater) Ruble. She married Harold Stevenson. The lifetime Barton County resident was a homemaker and artist. She was a member of the Christian faith.
Surviviors include four sons, Glenn Cousins, McPherson; Buddy Yhane, Louisiana; John Stevenson, Hoisington; and Brian Stevenson, Mississippi; three daughters, Shelley Yhane, Great Bend; Angie Ebeling, Ellinwood; and Tina Marie Leach, Claflin; a brother, Gary Ruble, Savannah, Ga.; a stepson, Harold Bryant Stevenson, Nevada, Mo.; an adopted son, Harold Stevenson, Great Bend; an adopted daughter, Talisa Stevenson, Mississippi; and a couple dozen grandchildren and more than one dozen great-grandchildren.
A funeral service is scheduled at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 22 at Nicholson-Ricke Funeral Home, Hoisington with Officiant The Reverend Dick Ogle. Interment will be at the Hoisington Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled from 9 a.m. to service time Wednesday at the Nicholson-Ricke Funeral Home.
