HOISINGTON — Judith Ann (Judy) Schneweis Nimmo died July 16, 2015, in Emmett Idaho. Born Oct. 14, 1947, at the St. Rose Hospital in Great Bend, she was the daughter of John and Margaret (Boor) Schneweis. She attended grade school at St. Joseph School in Beaver. She attended high school in Odin. On Aug. 17, 1974, she married Jim Nimmo in Hoisington. She was a wife, mother and homemaker. She enjoyed doing crafts and working at Fuller Brush. Mrs. Nimmo attended Assembly of God Church in Emmitt, Idaho.
Survivors include her husband Jim of the home; two sons, David of the home and Curtis of McCall, Idaho; two grandchildren Ashley and Jacob of McCall, Idaho; three brothers Francis Schneweis of Guymon Okla., Gerald (Jack) Schneweis of Claflin, and Herman (Butch)Schneweis of Hoisington; and three sisters Dorothy Maneth, Mary Stewart, and Bernice Huslig, all of Great Bend. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother Leo Schneweis; and sisters Marge Hitchmann and Rita Klug.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial service and burial of cremains will take place at 4 p.m. on Saturday at St. Joseph Cemetery in Beaver. Reception following at Beaver Fire Department hospitality room for friends and relatives. Memorials are suggested to the family to cover expenses of burial and headstone in care of Herman Schneweis, 568 W. 11th, Hoisington KS 67544.
