Kandyce Lee Miskell 1959 - 2022

Kandyce Lee Miskell, 62, passed away on January 2, 2022, in Medicalodges of Jackson County, in Holton, Kansas. She was born on April 10, 1959 to Howard Hadsell & Mary (Callaway) Barry. She was married to Steve Miskell for many years.

A long time Great Bend resident, she worked for Rosewood Services at both the Furniture Gallery and Winery/Greenhouse. Kandyce loved outdoor activities like biking, camping, fishing, mowing the lawn, riding on Stan’s motorcycle, shooting a black powdered rifle, going to the park and zoo, and walking the dogs. She loved her cats and socializing with people, being at the soup kitchen, and shooting pool. An avid sports fan, she loved the Kansas City Chiefs and KSU Wildcats fan.

Survivors include son, Timothy Miskell; sister, Mary Elaine Barry; brother, Howard Barry; three grandchildren, Ashley Shelton, Dakota Johnson and Dominic Johnson; five great-grandchildren, Julius, Kyler, Nicole, Negan, and Tobias; a companion for many years, Stan Kreigh; many other family members and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Sunday, January 9, 2022 at Bryant Funeral Home. Funeral service will take place at 10:00 a.m. Monday, January 10, 2022, at Bryant Funeral Home. Private family internment will be held at a later date. Memorials can be made to the Rosewood Roots and Wings Foundation, in care of Bryant Funeral Home.
