Karen Eileen Davis, 76, passed away Dec. 19, 2022, at her home in Great Bend. She was born Feb. 12, 1946, at Monte Vista, Colo., to Isaac and Helen (Reimer) Rempel. She married Paul Davis Sept. 9, 1966, in Denver, Colo. 

Coming from Denver, Colo. in 2001, Karen was a Great Bend resident. She was a cosmetologist by trade and loved what she did. She was a member of Faith Community Church. Karen enjoyed painting, crafts and decorating, especially interior decorating. 

Survivors include, her husband, Paul Davis of the home; two daughters, Michelle Jarvis of Livingston, Texas and Charlonda Wells of Ellinwood; a sister, Kathy Dahmer of Castle Rock, Colo.; ten grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren with one to arrive in March 2023. She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Abe, Vernon and Randall Rempel; and two sisters, Evelyn Ennis and Mary Rempel. 

Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 21, 2022 at Bryant Funeral Home, with family to receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 22, 2022, at Bryant Funeral Home, with Pastor Sandy Kennedy presiding. A private family interment will be in the Great Bend Cemetery Mausoleum. Memorials have been designated to the Karen Davis Memorial Fund, in care of Bryant Funeral Home.
