MCPHERSON — Kathleen M. Honomichl, 89, died April 24 at Memorial Hospital in McPherson. Born on Nov. 16, 1921, in Langley, she was the daughter of Edward W. and Beatrice J. (Allen) Buffington. She graduated from Marquette High School. On Feb. 4, 1957, she married Miles Lou Honomichl. He preceded her in death on Dec. 21, 2001. She was a retired office manager for Cablevision in McPherson.

Mrs. Honomichl attended the First Presbyterian Church in McPherson.

Survivors include a son, Gary Honomichl of Wichita; a sister, Verla Whitney of South Hutchinson; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, and a sister, Janice Burgess.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, at Stockham Family Funeral Home with the Rev. H. Dick Reynolds, Jr. officiating. A private family inurnment will be at the Wilson Cemetery following the memorial service. Memorial donations are suggested to Hospice Care of Kansas in care of the funeral home.
