ELLINWOOD — Kathryn Bernice Lamb, 66, died May 7 at her home in Ellinwood. Born Nov. 7, 1945 in San Bernardino, Calif., she was the daughter of Elmo John and Mildred Bernice (McKinney) Riddle. On Feb. 10, 1963 she married Ron Lamb in Great Bend. A resident of Ellinwood since 1958, coming from Wichita, she was a beautician and was co-owner of Ron Lamb’s Color Clinic for thirty-one years. She was a self-taught artist.
Mrs. Lamb was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include her husband, Ron Lamb, of the home; a son, Randal Lamb and his wife Julie of Birmingham, Ala.; a sister, Joyce (Riddle) Ware and her husband Charles of Broken Arrow, Okla.; two brothers, Eddie Riddle and his wife Sharon of St. Louis, Okla. and Ricky Riddle and his wife Jerri of Konowa, Okla.; and five grandchildren, Taylor Lamb, Tatiana Lamb, Tristan Lamb, Turner Lamb, and Trinity Lamb. She was preceded in death by one brother, Gary Gene Riddle.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday at Bryant Funeral Home with the Rev. John Grummon officiating. Burial will be at 3 p.m. on Saturday at Maude Cemetery in Cunningham. Friends may visit from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to Kans for Kids in care of the funeral home.
