Kathryn “Kathi” Nolte, 55, died March 27, 2016, at her home in Great Bend. Born Aug. 31, 1960, in Great Bend, she was the daughter of John Gilbert and Carolee (Thompson) Nolte. In 1978 she graduated from Great Bend High School. A lifetime resident of the Great Bend area, she was a homemaker.
Survivors include her companion, Dan Dolezal of the home; her mother, Carolee Nolte of Great Bend; a son, Mark Conley of Missouri; a daughter, Annika Smith of Great Bend; one sister, Debra Orebaugh and her husband Mel of Wichita; two nephews, Brandon Orebaugh and his wife Becca and Joshua Orebaugh and his wife Stephanie, both of Wichita; and a great-nephew, Elijah Orebaugh. She was preceded in death by her father, Gilbert Nolte.
Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday at Peace Church Cemetery, north of Hudson. There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place.
