SALINA — Kay Donna Savage, 79, of Salina, Kan., passed away Thursday, Sept. 22nd, at Salina Regional Health Center.

Kay was born in Plainview, Texas on April 13, 1943, a daughter of Gayle Anise (Leachman) and Paris Vance Cargill. On Aug. 24, 1961, Kay married Roy Eldridge Savage, Jr.

She is a former missionary with the Foreign Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention. She was a Pastor’s wife and also loved to spend time with her family, her dog Biscuit, traveling, and church. 

Survivors include two sons, Cary Savage (Jodi), of Durango, Colo., Greg Savage (Heidi), of Salina, Kan.; daughter, Krista Ball (Mark), of Great Bend, Kan. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren. Kay is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Roy; sister, Shirley Rinhardt.

Cremation has been chosen. A Memorial Service will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, Sept. 27th at First Southern Baptist Church in Salina, Kan. with Pastor Greg Savage officiating. Memorials may be given to Lottie Moon Christmas Offering for International Missions, C/O First Southern Baptist Church, Salina, Kan.
