LARNED — Keith Eugene Rolo, 84, died Dec. 9 at Pawnee Valley Community Hospital, Larned. He was born Jan. 18, 1926, at Larned, the son of Francis and Mary Bowman Rolo. A longtime resident of Pawnee County, he was a retired farmer and custom harvester. He was a graduate of Zook High School class of 1943.

Mr. Rolo belonged to Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Larned. He served in the U.S. Army during Korean Conflict.

Survivors include four brothers, Alan Rolo, Palco, Arthur Rolo, Plainville, Barry Rolo, Lubbock, Texas, and Larry Rolo, Colorado City, Texas; one sister, Ora Louise Meyer, Castle Rock, Colo.; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by three brothers Kenneth, Bryce and Wilbur.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Morell Funeral Home, Larned, with Father Bernard Felix presiding. Burial will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Zook. Visitation will be from noon until 8 p.m. today and 9 a.m. until service time Monday at the funeral home. Memorials may be sent to the Keith Rolo Memorial Fund in care of Morell Funeral Home.
