ROZEL— Keith W. Patterson, 82, passed away January 20, 2018 at Pawnee Valley Community Hospital, Larned.He was born November 10, 1935 in Larned, the son of Guy and Velma Balman Patterson. A longtime area resident, he was a heavy equipment operator.He was a member of the United Methodist Church, Rozel and he served in the United States Army.He married Gail Chegwidden. They later divorced.Survivors include: two sons, Gary (Kelsey) Patterson, Fort Worth, TX, Greg (Tonya) Patterson, Rozel, KS; two daughters, Amy (Harlan) Tomlin, El Dorado, KS, Andrea Wells, Arlington, TX; Four sisters, Roberta Ingold and Mary (Len) Stock, both of Fisher, IL, Myra Bennett, Chandler, AZ, Sue (Bob) Selby, Burlington, KS; 10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.He was preceded in death by three brothers, Harold, Raymond and Joe.Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Beckwith Mortuary, Larned, KS, with Pastor Brad McCoy presiding.
