Keith Wayne Benker, 53, died May 1 at Great Bend. He was born Feb. 20, 1958, at Deshler, Neb., the son of Kenneth and Connie (Ingles) Benker. He married Maribeth Taylor Fradd on Jan. 1, 1996, at Great Bend. A Great Bend resident since 1988, coming from Cunningham, he owned and operated Keith Benker Irrigation Service.
Mr. Benker was of the Lutheran faith.
Survivors include his wife, of the home; son Kelly Benker of Great Bend; stepdaughter Corry Rowe and husband Ryan of Great Bend; brother Kevin Benker and wife Gina of Great Bend; three sisters, Kathy George and husband Gary of Gilead, Neb., Kris Seibenniecher and husband Larry of Deshler, Neb., and Colleen White of Hebron, Neb.; brother-in-law Merv White of Hebron, Neb.; granddaughter Raelynn Rowe of Great Bend; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Bryant Funeral Home, with the Rev. Dick Ogle officiating. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., with the family receiving friends from 7-8 p.m., Wednesday at the funeral home.
