ST. JOHN — Kelly F. Crissman, 52, passed away on March 26, 2016. Born on May 18, 1963, at Great Bend he was the son of Sam and Sharon (Estes) Crissman Jr. A life-long resident of St. John, he was a progressive farmer. On April 5, 1999, he married Marcia L. Christendon at Colorado Springs, Colo. She survives.
Mr. Crissman was a member of the Eden Valley Church of the Brethren, past St. John CO-OP board and Kansas Livestock Association.
Other survivors include his daughter, Erin M. Crissman of St. John; his parents Sam and Sharon; a sister, Kris Brown (Brian) of St. John; two brothers, Kirby Crissman (Leah) of St. John, and Kenny Crissman (Rhonda) of Troutman, N.C.; four nieces, Kayla Crissman, Katrena, Kourtney and Kerisa Brown; and two nephews, Kinser Crissman and Schuyler Brown. He was preceded in death by a brother, Kerry Crissman; and his grandparents.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday at the I.O.O.F. Lodge in St. John with Rodney K. Lyons officiating. Visitation will be held from 1 to 7 p.m. today and Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to a college fund for his daughter Erin in care of the funeral home.
