STERLING — Kenneth E. Bohannan, 60, died Feb. 6, 2016, at Ellinwood District Hospital. Born May 15, 1955, in Hays, he was the son of Howard and Eula (Boyd) Bohannan. He was a longtime resident of Chase before moving to Sterling. He loved fishing, bowling, bingo, and played guitar in his Church’s band.
Survivors include brother, Travis (Natasha) Hardcastle, of Ellinwood; four sisters, Connie (David) Shadduck, of Beaver, Debra (Gary) Mazur, of Chase, Brenda (JR) Suppes, of Great Bend, and Cindy (Kris) Shadduck, of Ellinwood; as well as several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Eula Bohannan.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday at Minnis Chapel in Ellinwood with Brother Jesse Stover officiating. Visitation will be from 1 to 7 p.m. on Thursday at Minnis Chapel.
