Kenneth Michael Klepper 1930 - 2014

Kenneth Michael Klepper, 84, died Dec. 11 at his home in Great Bend. He was born May 26, 1930, at Raymond, the son of Nicholas and Alice (Strobl) Klepper. He married Marilyn Russell Sept. 22, 1952, at Great Bend. She died Dec. 31, 2009.
Klepper was an Ellinwood High School graduate. A lifetime Great Bend resident, he was a mechanic for Allied Cementing, retiring in 1993.
He was a member of Prince of Peace Parish and the Knights of Columbus Council 862, both of Great Bend.  He also spent his past time with the “lunch bunch” and his coffee group at Burger King.
Survivors include three sons, David Klepper and his wife Janice of Great Bend, Mike Klepper and his wife Nancy of Stillwater, Okla., and Steve Klepper and his wife Jody of Great Bend; one daughter, Kathy Graf and her husband Jim of Hutchinson; one brother, Ray Klepper and his wife Avanelle of Seguin, Texas; 10 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one brother, Mike Strobl.
Vigil service will be at 7 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 14, at Bryant Funeral Home in Great Bend. Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m., Monday at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Great Bend with the Rev. Ted Stoecklein officiating. Inurnment will be at Great Bend Cemetery. Cremation has taken place and friends may sign the register book from 1-9 p.m., Sunday at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to the Prince of Peace Parish, in care of the funeral home. Condolences may be sent and notice viewed at www.bryantfh.net.
