LARNED — Kenneth R. Ostrander, 73, passed away Feb. 17, 2018, at his Home in Larned. He was born Sept. 20, 1944, in Larned, the son of Ralph and Eva Fern Atwood Ostrander. A lifetime area resident, he was a farmer and worked in metal fabrication for Doerr’s.
He was of the Christian faith.
Survivors include a son, Leon Ostrander, Great Bend; three nephews; Dennis Meier, Billy Ostrander and Todd Ostrander, and a niece, Debbie Danler.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Donald D. Ostrander, Ronald E. Ostrander; a sister, Coletta Meier; and a niece Lori Ostrander.
Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Monday at Wayne Cemetery, Lewis, Kansas, with Robert Sallee presiding. Visitation will be 1-8 p.m. Sunday at Beckwith Mortuary, Larned. Burial will be in Wayne Cemetery, Lewis.
