NEODESHA — Kenneth “Tiny” Raymond Unrein died Jan. 24, 2015, at his home in Neodesha. Born Sept. 21, 1943, in La Crosse, he was the son of Jacob and Abby Unrein. He attended school in La Crosse. He was employed at a packing plant, roofing and construction and was a truck driver at Airosal Inc.
He was also a diesel mechanic and managed a large shop in California. He retired from Penske Truck Rentals in California in 2009 and moved back to Neodesha. In 1962 he was married to Paula Pace Oller in Colorado.
Survivors include his wife Paula; two children, Kenneth Ray of Stockton, Calif., and LaDona Gae Munoz of Modesto, Calif.; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Hedy and Ruth; and one brother, Gary; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers; and six sisters.
Cremation has taken place and services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 30, at the Methodist Church in Neodesha. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice or the Methodist Church of Neodesha, and can be left at Loran Fawcett Chapel, 704 Indiana, Neodesha, KS 66757.
