Kimberly Ruth (Powers) Rocha was born June 17, 1960, at Wright City, Mo.

Kim peacefully passed away at her home on Feb. 10, 2024. She was the daughter of William T. (Bill) Powers and Vivian Powers. They moved to Great Bend during her grade school years where she became a lifetime resident. She attended all Great Bend schools and graduated GBHS.

Shortly after her graduation she married Donald Gene Rocha on July 7, 1984. They had two children, Eric Rocha and Stacy Rocha (Davis) and one stepdaughter, Jeni Rocha (Clark). Kim was a stay at home mother until the kids had grown up and then she went to work at USD 428 as a para for 22 years.

She enjoyed traveling, gardening, and family time.

She has two living brothers, Jimmy Powers and Kevin Powers. She is also survived by three grandchildren from Peter and Jeni Clark: Kennedy, Brianna, Kaden; and two grandchildren from Jacob and Stacy Davis: Brayden and Brylen; and two step-grandchildren, Jaydon and Zachary Davis. She was preceded in death by her father William T. (Bill) Powers, mother Vivian Powers, and three brothers, Charlie Powers, Donald (Donnie) Powers and Richard Powers.

Celebration of life will be at a later date.
