Kolita Ann Hullett 1944-2011

LARNED — Kolita Ann Hullett, 66, died June 5 at the Leisure Homestead, St. John. She was born Sept. 27, 1944, in Larned, the daughter of William F. and Viola M. Marlett Kirchgassner. She was a juvenile correctional officer for the Larned Juvenile Correctional Facility. She was a lifetime area resident of Larned.

She attended the United Methodist Church, Larned and the Assembly of God Church, Great Bend, was a Cub Scout Leader for five years, and was a member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary both of Larned.

On July 11, 1963 she married William Pulliam. On Oct. 29, 1971, she married Harold Hullett at Larned. He died Nov. 6, 2002.

Survivors include: four daughters, Kelly Roberts and Shona Perez, both of Larned, Vonda Halfhill, Great Bend, Samantha Owens, Wichita; a son, Stacy Pulliam, Independence, Mo.; a sister, Celeste Webster, Bridge Port; two brothers, Dewight and Larry Kirchgassner, Larned; 14 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister, Rebecca Blackwell; brother, Duane Kirchgassner; one grandson; three granddaughters and one great granddaughter.

Memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Beckwith Mortuary Chapel, Larned with the Rev. Dwight Dozier presiding. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday and

Tuesday and until service time Wednesday at Beckwith Mortuary, Larned, Kansas. Cremation has taken place. Inurnment will be in the Larned Cemetery, Larned.
