Kyle Ann Lichter 1963 - 2015

TOPEKA — Kyle Ann Lichter, 51, Topeka, passed away Feb. 24, 2015.
Kyle was born March 18, 1963, to Rueben and Virginia Engel Urban in Hays. She graduated from Otis-Bison High School in 1981 and earned a bachelor’s degree from Kansas State University. Kyle and Lynn Lichter were united in marriage on June 9, 1984, in Olmitz, enjoying over 30 years together. Kyle was a member of Mother Teresa of Calcutta Church. She volunteered at her children's schools in the Seaman School District, at Hayden High and throughout the community. She thoroughly enjoyed her time as a jeweler for Premier Design. Kyle battled breast cancer in 2001 and a recurrence in 2011. Kyle was a selfless person who put others needs before her own. She was a fighter and an inspiration to those around her. She will be dearly missed.
Kyle is survived by husband, Lynn; children, Andrew, Erin, Brett; parents, Rueben and Virginia Urban; brother, Ken Urban (Melanie), and sisters, Karin Cross (Chris), Kristen Janda (Jeff).
A parish rosary will be prayed at 5 p.m. Thursday at Mother Teresa of Calcutta Catholic Church, 2014 NW 46th Street, Topeka KS 66618, with visitation following until 7 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at the church with burial at Prairie Home Cemetery.
