GREAT BEND — Larry D. White, 71, passed away Nov. 10, in Hutchinson.
Born July 8, 1942, in Chase, he was the son of Willis B. and Francis (Snyder) Haas.
On July 21, 1962, he married Chole (Snyder). He was a catskinner in the oilfield for many years. He was a loving father and husband always providing for the family and asking for little in return.
Survivors include two sons, Troy (Amy) White, Ellinwood; and Dustin (Brianna) White, Great Bend; two sisters, Karen (Sonny) Almanza, Hutchinson; and Kay (Melvin) Brady, Chase; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife Chole M. White; parents Willis and Francis White; brother Charles White; and son Todd White.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, at the Immanuel United Church of Christ in Ellinwood with Pastor Kasey Crosby officiating. Burial will follow at Lakin Comanche District Cemetery in Ellinwood.
Visitation is scheduled from 1 to 7 p.m. Thursday, with family present from 6 to 7 p.m. at Minnis Chapel in Ellinwood.
Memorials may be given to the Kaydin White Cancer Fund in care of the funeral home.
