PEA RIDGE, Ark. — Larry Wayne Hunt, 65, of Pea Ridge, Ark., passed away Thursday Dec. 14, 2017, at Northwest Medical Center of Bentonville, Ark. He was born July 9, 1952, in Great Bend, the son of Arther Wayne Hunt and Shirley Rae Jones Hunt. Larry was a graduate of Great Bend High School. Retired from the oilfields in Kansas, and worked construction in Northwest Arkansas. He loved spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his children; Lisa Tolan and husband Eric, Kristi Lyons and husband Stephen, Serena Shepard, all of Pea Ridge, Ark., Parry Hunt and partner Valerie Owen of Bentonville, Ark., and Francis Hunt of Centerton, Ark.; his sister Catherine Hunt Strecker and husband Monty of Ellinwood; ten grandchildren and one great-grandchild on the way; and three nieces and two nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother Bobby Hunt.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday Dec. 22, at Benton County Funeral Home, 306 N. 4th St., Rogers Ark.
