HOISINGTON — Lea (Steitz) Lehmann, 96, died April 26 at Country Place Senior Living in Hoisington. Born April 16, 1915 in Otis, she was the daughter of Conrad and Mary (Brack) Steitz. On Aug. 23, 1936 she married Martin F. Lehmann in Otis. He died Sept. 12, 2005. A long-time resident of Hoisington, coming from Otis, she was a homemaker.
Mrs. Lehmann was a member of the Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Hoisington, WELCA in Otis and Hoisington, and the Clara Barton Hospital Auxiliary.
Survivors include a son, Marvin Lehmann and wife Janene of Arlington, Texas; a daughter, Dorothy Michaelis of Fair Oaks, Calif.; five grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers; and a sister.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. at the Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Hoisington with the Rev. Steven Little officiating. Burial will be at the Hoisington Cemetery. Friends may visit from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. today with a prayer service at 7 p.m., at the funeral home and from 9:30 a.m. to service time at the church.
