Lee Miller, 85, passed away after a short illness on Sept. 26, 2015. Lee moved to Great Bend in 1955 from Gove County and worked for 32 years for the Great Bend Fire Department.
Survivors include his daughters, Cathy Peacock of Nevada and Pam Miller Finley of Arkansas; son, Robert Miller of Texas; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Herlan and Edith Miller; brother, Harold Miller; and grandson, Wesley Turnbull.
A celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 3, at the Great Bend Senior Center, 2005 Kansas Ave. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Veterans of Foreign Wars VFW Post 3111, 504 Washington, Great Bend, KS 67530 or Great Bend Senior Center.
