Leo Dean Radenberg, 91, passed away March 17, 2023, at Medicalodges of Great Bend. He was born July 30, 1931, in Claflin, to Paul & Rose (Miller) Radenberg. He married Patsy Dell Scott on May 21, 1955, in Great Bend. She died on May 18, 2018.
A longtime area resident, Leo worked in facility maintenance at Marlette Homes and the Central Kansas Public Library. He enjoyed mechanic work, plumbing and carpentry, as well as gardening. Leo tried to pass these and other basic life skills on to his family.
Survivors include, a son, Terry Radenberg (Kyle) of Great Bend; a daughter, Laree Hinman (David) of Hoisington; three grandchildren, Taryn Mitchell (Jack), Gannon Radenberg and (fianceé Brooke Oleson) and Steven Hinman (Sarah); and three great grandchildren, Jackson Hinman, Kathryn Titsworth and Emersyn Mitchell. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Patsy Radenberg; two brothers, Marvin Radenberg and Albert Radenberg; and a sister, Vivian Grossardt.
Memorial Graveside Service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, March 25, 2023 at the Great Bend Cemetery with Chaplain Jeffrey Owen presiding and Military Rites conducted by the Fort Riley Honor Guard. Memorials have been designated to DAV or Golden Belt Humane Society, in care of Bryant Funeral Home.
